The Lexington Arts and Crafts Society opens its new season on September 6, 2005 with ”Best of the Best” a new show featuring selected works by artists and artisans representing the Ceramics, Painters, Polymer-Clay, Needleworkers, Basketry, Woodworkers, Weavers, Metalworkers and Decorative Arts Guilds.

Visitors will be treated to an eclectic array of color, texture, design, style and medium chosen for display by the many regionally and nationally known, award winning artists that make up the Society.

On display will be elegant, handcrafted jewelry; whimsical polymer clay; handsome wood creations; colorful weavings; decorative arts; artistic and useful ceramics; intricate basketry; expertly needleworked quilts and clothing and a wide variety of painting styles in oil, watercolor and acrylic.

The Exhibit is designed to showcase the wonderful talents of the membership and to encourage others to join this welcoming and active Society.
